How a 6 week programme changed my life

Hailey, a working mum of 2 who had a bad relationship with exercise changed her outlook on fitness which changed her life.

Meet Hailey, a working mum of 2 young boys who came to us wanting to feel better within her body. Like a lot of people she had a bad relationship with fitness, always found a gym workout a chore or punishment, which always without fail leads to a disastrous relationship with exercise. But Hailey is proof that all you need is some will to turn up and try, the right gym and workouts with a positive like minded community to make the changes you need.

To me since having kids going to the gym has always been a chore that I struggle to fit in till now.
This attitude had meant letting my own health take a hit; I wasn’t exercising regularly and the exercise I was doing wasn’t right for me leaving me in pain. This was having a negative effect on my healthy physically and mentally in particular lack of energy.

With some encouragement I made the time and joined the 6 week life changer programme with the Wild team and it has given me a new love for exercise.

I have tried more varieties of exercise in the last 6 weeks than in my whole life including Indian clubs, Jui Jitsu, Silks, hoop, Bodyweight Strength, CrossFit, HIIT.

I have suffered with ongoing neck shoulder pain for the last 7 years which not only have all the trainers adapted exercises to suit me but also shown me techniques, exercises and a stretch & movement class which have helped to relieve pain and strengthen that area.

I’ve realised I CAN make it work around busy life with kids and have that time for myself. As well as a wide variety of classes and times throughout the week I am able to take my son with me to classes and PT sessions if needed and James even has a pop up obstacle course/ball pit for the little ones to allow parents to work out guilt free whilst their kids have fun. There are also some kids classes available. It’s a family friendly gym.

I can honestly say that the programme has kick started me into a better healthier life style that I chose to continue because I am enjoying it and feeling the positive results. I would recommend this to anyone who is struggling to motivate themselves into getting started or fallen out of regular exercise.
