Everest vs Killi

Different mountain... bigger world record!

After initially deciding to take on Everest Base Camp to set the Guinness World Record for the ‘Highest Altitude Fitness Class’, Wild Training founder James Griffith has decided to take it a step further and attempt the record on Africa’s highest peak… Mount Kilimanjaro!

Speaking on his decision, James said, “Changing from Everest to Kilimanjaro was an easy decision. At 19,341 ft it’s a much higher altitude - which means an even bigger world record! I also get to do the workout at the very top of Kili and not at the Base Camp like I would have had to do on Everest.

“Training is underway so I’m set for a big challenge but I’m confident that I can get it done and raise awareness and vital funds for Hope for Children.”

James will begin his epic journey to the top of Kilimanjaro on 15th October! To follow his fundraising and training progress, click here
