My Story

Having studied a Biology Bsc Degree at University, I knew I wanted a career which involved an in depth knowledge of human biology, physiology and a constant requirement to learn more and more. I didn't however want to sit in a lab all day long looking through microscopes. I wanted to be active and in touch with people rather than computers.

So I thought, how could I incorporate my passion for biology with my long time love for sports...?

The fitness industry ticked all the boxes.

I had been toying with the idea of the fitness industry for a few months, when i decided to consult my good friend James Griffiths for some valuable and honest advice.

With his enthusiastic words, I started to apply for jobs, excited by the opportunity this industry presented.

It wasn't long after and I started working for the prestigious health clubs, David Lloyd.

During my time at the company, I gained experience, confidence and most importantly I successfully completed my fitness qualifications.

My enthusiasm and knowledge only grew stronger, but I was still keen to learn more about training and the endless possibilities of different techniques and equipment available.

This was when I decided to leave David Lloyd and move on to pastures new. I was given the opportunity to work with a smaller chain of independently owned fitness studios based in London, specialising in Power Plate classes.

Within a short time, I gained my Power Plate instructor qualification, had built up a loyal cliental basis and was thoroughly enjoying teaching my own personalised classes. The studio enabled me to work closer with clients, tailoring their fitness needs on a more personal level and nothing was more rewarding for both the clients and myself, to see positive results.

This was when I knew, personal training was for me and it was also at this moment when I turned back to James for some further advice.

I am now very pleased to say that I am involved with the most exciting fitness company in the industry and have started running my own Wild Training classes in North London.

Wild Training is gaining momentum and we are getting great feedback everyday.

Its a pleasure to be working closely with James, bringing affordable, fun and exciting personal training / fitness classes to any ages or fitness levels.

Madeline is one of those people that isn't scared of anything and will step up to any challenge. I knew that she would be perfect when I was looking to set up my first franchises for Wild Training because she loves exercise, has uber amounts of energy and wants to be the best, at everything! She's not the sort of person that would ever let you down. Madeline has a great ability to communicate technical information to people, making exercise effective and fun. She was running great classes already but I knew with some support she would become a world class trainer in no time and so far she is well on her way. Madeline and I are working hard to develop Wild Training by improving programmes all the time and looking at new services that can help people achieve the results they want.

"The lovely Madeline then told me about “WILD TRAINING”. I must admit I
felt quite intimidated by it all as I had seen people running around
in parks being shouted at, and this scared me. But I knew Madeline
and trusted her, so I gave it a go. After my first session I thought I
was going to die, I couldn’t  do all the running but that was fine
as Madeline just encourage me to keep moving so I power walked. I
didn’t feel intimidated at all but knew I had worked really hard.  6
weeks later I am now attending 3 sessions a week and I love it. My
fitness levels have come on leaps and bounds, I can now walk up both
esculators at Highgate Tube station without feeling I am going to have
a heart attack.  I have dropped a dress size,  yippee, but more
importantly I just feel so much fitter, so If you are looking for an
alternative to the gym, then come and join our happy family. It
doesn’t matter  your age , size or fitness level  this is a great
friendly way to get fit, and as the program changes  every two weeks
you never get bored. I guarantee you will get fit, slim and lots

of encouragement from the dynamic  Madeline."
